EnterWorks - ETT 054 - Services Framework 2021-01-17 Release Overview

This overviews the changes and enhancements in the 2021-01-17 release of the Services Framework:

Change Notification

• Added support for deletion events (CN_Log, Email, Transformation)
• Added action indicator to CN_Log repository for the type of event (Create, Update, Delete) that triggered processing
• Added ability for Change Notification Transformations to delete repository records 

EPX Callout BICs

• Changed all Callout BICs to display the details on the input and output parameters in the Description text area field in the Settings tab in Design Console
• InitiateScheduledImport – added support to set attributes in the launched Scheduled Import Job
• LockWorkFlow – clarified the timeout is specified in minutes
• SQL Create Saved Set BIC – corrected issue with re-creating an existing saved set
• SyncEPXUsersWithEnable – added support for Linux/PostgreSQL
• Created template file set and script to create standalone Callout BICs

Import Pre-Processing

• InitiateSaveAndSendForSavedSet – added user name to creation of work item.  Previously, it was always using the ‘admin’ user
  SQL Support (Linux)
• CleanupSavedSetsForRepository.pg.sql – implemented function CleanupSavedSetsForRepository() to cleanup saved sets by repository and name (wildcards supported) for PostgreSQL
• CompareEnableServerExtract_*.pg.sql – improved formats to match SQL Server scripts. Implemented scripts for
• Import/Export, Search/ User Preferences, Security, ServicesFramework, SQL

SQL Support (SQL Server)

• CompareEnableServerExtract_*.sql – improved formats to make reports more compact and to match PostgreSQL scripts

UI Support

• Added Custom Widget example UploadAssets.html that will upload a digital asset to the DAMDrop folder.  The uploaded files have the current date and time appended to the file name, making the file unique
