Data360 DQ+ Fundamentals

The Data360 DQ+ fundamentals training curriculum is designed to introduce participants to foundational knowledge required to start a new implementation. It includes administrator level configuration such as environments setup, security and DQ+ Pipelines. Furthermore, participants will learn and practice how to acquire data, create analysis to transform/enrich data, setup process automation, and create visualization dashboards based on the course scenario. In addition, Data Profiling and Data Quality modules are covered.

• Module 1 | Begin Implementation (Administrator setup)
  • Create a Data360 DQ+ environment.
  • Create users, grant permissions, and map users into security groups.
  • Setup the “file” structure (pipeline) for your project.
• Module 2 | Configure Data Stores
  • Identify the different types of Data Stores.
  • Create Data Stores, and manage the data store definition like updating fields, retention settings etc.
• Module 3 | Analysis
  • Create analysis to take data from the existing Data Stores and manipulate to create new outputs.
• Module 4 | Visualization
  • Create data views and build dashboards, which is a visual representation of your Data View, that can render charts, graphs, and other formats of the data.
• Module 5 | Process Automation
  • Create an automated workflow that will perform all the data loads, data executions, and other tasks/steps related to your visualization.
• Module 6 | Data Quality
  • Create data quality checks for completeness, type conformance, value conformance, and consistency of data elements from one or more data sources.
• Module 7 | Data Profiling
  • Profile Data allows you to gather information about any field in your data set, and generates an output that contains valuable information about each profiled field.
