Enterworks - ETT 111 - How to Configure and use Change Notification Language Translation Functionality

EnterWorks supports managing data in multiple languages for some attributes.  The values for a specific language (such as English) can be entered in the UI for each attribute, imported from files, or updated from external applications using the REST API.  The actual translations from the enter language values to the other languages can be obtained piecemeal through online services, such as Google translate.  Some customers wish to employ an external company/service to generate the translations for the different languages.  Change Notification Language Translation facilitates obtaining translations for multi-language attributes from an external company/service.  This EnterWorks Tech Talk focuses on this process, including:

• Overview of the Language Translation process. Demonstration of the process, including:
  • Making changes to the multi-language attributes through the UI
  • Generating the translation request export
  • Updating the translation file to include the translation values
  • Importing the translation response file
  • Monitoring the CN_Translation_Log during the process
• How to configure the CN_LanguageTranslation_Registry and CN_Registry to capture multi-language attribute changes
