About this course

Learn advanced MIMIX skills necessary to configure and manage environments that are more complex with MIMIX V10. Gain hands on skills to identify how to modify configuration to better optimize your environment. Learn how to migrate a data group to use the new Multithreaded apply for increased performance and configure MIMIX for multi node environments as well as the use of the MIMIX Intra installation. The student will learn how to troubleshoot replication issues and gain knowledge on how to use various tools and options to correct the issues. Will gain hands on experience in planning and performing a planned switch, troubleshooting a failed switch, and learn how to use Procedures and Steps to automate the switching process.

This self-study course will guide you through advanced topics in MIMIX. The agenda provides you with a guideline on the order to complete the training modules over the 4-day period. During this 4-day self-study course, you will have 24-hour access to the systems allowing you to choose a convenient time for you to work on the lab assignments. 

You can work ahead if you desire. All lab work needs to be finished within the duration of the course. Note the order of the labs is important, as some labs will build upon steps completed in previous labs.
